British Dental Association

The British Dental Association is the largest professional body for dentists in the UK with nearly 20,000 members, plus student members. The Association acts as both a trade union and professional association and exists to help, advise and represent its members. A wide range of advisory publications is available. The BDA’s annual conference includes clinical sessions as well as a large trade exhibition.

The BDA headquarters building in Wimpole Street houses the BDA’s Information Centre, which has the widest range of dental publications and articles in Europe.

Membership is open to all registered dentists, UK dental students and overseas dentists. Further information is available from the Membership Department, BDA, 64 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8YS (telephone 020 7563 4550; e-mail:  membership@bda.org ).
