An update on DDRB
The BDA has submitted its main and supplementary evidence to the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Pay Review Body along with the Health Departments, NHS Employers and other interested parties. Substantial evidence was put forward with regard to rising practice expenses and low morale amongst NHS dentists.
We have asked for 3.6 per cent on net earnings that equates to 3.8 per cent on contract values if last year’s problem with the DDRB formula is corrected. The Health Departments have recommended zero per cent on gross contract values, which they argue would equate to 0.6 per cent on net, assuming that dentists make one per cent efficiency savings. BDA evidence appears on the BDA website.
