Have you thought about your retirement plan?

This is your opportunity to gather financial advice on retirement, as well as guidance on the more personal life-changing issues. Learn from, and interact with, our panel of experts offering you advice on how to manage the changes retirement brings, including financial planning, NHS pension scheme, disposing of the practice and much more. This seminar is aimed at GDPs considering retirement in the near future.

Optional Thursday lecture

Estate and inheritance tax plann ing - a FREE lecture worth 1hr CPD

Organised by Lloyd & Whyte, a BDA Plus company

In addition to the core Preparing for retirement content are also offering a lecture on Estate and inheritance tax planning, which is another consideration for you and your family as you move towards the later years of your life. This will be held the evening before the main seminar at each of the three venues. The lecture will look at how inheritance tax (IHT) is calculated, and the likely costs to your estate of failing to plan and put in place appropriate measures to reduce the impact of the tax on your estate value. We will look to dispel many of the myths about IHT and how it is charged, and the options available to help reduce the potential liability to your beneficiaries.

We have enlisted the help of specialist speakers who can help shed light on how to plan effectively and minimise the IHT associated with your estate. Looking at options such as gifts, the use of appropriate Trusts and effective estate planning to ensure more of your money passes to your beneficiaries rather than the taxman.

This lecture is free of charge if you book for the main Preparing for retirement seminar.
