Since 1990 Alison Miles-Jenkins, has trained thousands of interviewers in recruitment/selection skills. Her experience tells her that there is one skill that on balance is more important than any other when it comes to appointing right person for the job. This session reveals what it is and how to do it, along with other tips for effective interviews.

About the speaker

Alison Miles-Jenkins set up Training to Achieve, the training and management development consultancy, in 1990 and has been working in the dental sector since 1998, with clients including the GDC, DCS, West Midlands Dental Deanery and numerous dental practices throughout the UK. Alison is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has taught Chartered Management Institute courses at the highest level. She is also a regular contributor to professional magazines and journals, and was the winner of an Education and Lifelong Learning Award in November 2010. |
