Current Issues in NHS Dentistry and Government Dental Policy

Penny Whitehead has spent many years advising dentists on NHS regulations and contractual issues. She presently leads a team of 18 BDA staff who develop NHS policy, conduct research and advise dentists on NHS issues.
Eddie Crouch successfully sort Judicial Review over the termination clause in the PDS contract in High Court.
Aims and Objectives
• For attendees to fully understand how the Steele Review came about and why the Pilots are happening and how the BDA and GDPC are influencing this.
• To explain how the BDA is supporting colleagues with existing NHS Contractual problems and legal issues.
• To understand how to steer clear of contractual disputes and what rights performers and providers have.
