Due to the fact that more and more members of the public retain their teeth later in life, dentists have to frequently meet the challenge of managing deteriorating dentitions.
In order to be successful in restorative practice, it is essential to design comprehensive treatment plans that will focus on occlusal and aesthetic issues along with the correct material selection.
After attending this seminar you will have gained knowledge about the consequences of tooth wear and the treatment planning necessary to successfully treat a severely worn dentition.
This one-day seminar will concentrate on the following topics:
- Understanding the causes of tooth wear and erosion.
- Appreciating the treatment planning involved with restoring the worn and broken down dentition.
- Understanding the decision making process involved with the management of the worn dentition.
“All aspects of causes of tooth wear and restoration of it are useful to know about and gave ideas which we can use in practice”, J Eilertsen, VT, Dundee
