This year's VDP Ball is being held at the magnificent St George's Hall, a Grade 1 listed building which is widely recognised as one of the finest neo-classical buildings in the world.

An evening of elegance and mystery will await those attending this year's masquerade ball. Drinks will be served under the beautiful colonaded balcony of the North Hall Entrance and a lavish three course dinner in the Great Hall will follow.

Conf-Din-co02This year's Conference dinner will be at the pristine Hilton Hotel, located in the heart of the remodelled city centre. This plush venue overlooks the Liver Buildings, Albert Dock and Chavasse Park.

The dinner provides guests the perfect opportunity to end the conference in style, whilst relaxing with colleagues and friends.

Special guests the 'Amateur Transplants', aka Adam Kay and Suman Biswas, a parody muscial duo known amongst the medical world for their somewhat risque songs and famous for the 'London Underground' song, will be providing the entertainment.

LATEST NEWS: The Conference dinner is set to dish up up a rich mix of jazz, blues, boogie-woogie and rock'n'roll as Dino Baptiste and his band take to the stage. Resident performer at Jools Holland's live music venue The Jam House in Birmingham, Dino's other performances include Jerry Hall's birthday party arranged by and in the prescence of Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones, Wembley arena with Dana Gillespie in 1997 supporting Bob Dylan, and supporting performances on tour with the likes of Billy Joel, Jimmy Vaughan and Alannah Myles.  

Dress code: black tie. Tickets are £70 per person
