The Museum has developed two resources for secondary school teachers and their students.
20th Century Health Histories is a joint resource with the Museum of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. These resources are aimed at those teaching health in the 20th century to Year 9 students. The original material and background notes provide an opportunity to view wide changes in medicine and health in the 20th century through the focus on two specific areas, dentistry and pharmacy.
Dentistry Through Time is also aimed at Year 9 students and is useful in the transition to studying GCSE Medicine Through Time. They are ideal for developing students understanding of chronology, using techniques they can apply to the rest of the curriculum. There are three different activities in this section.
