Services for Schools and Adult Groups

The BDA Dental Museum provides a variety of services for teachers, students and adult groups.

Foundation stage

The Museum has a number of loan boxes targeted at Founation Stage teachers and pupils. The box supports the delivery of the topic 'People Who Help Us' and includes jigsaws, games, dental outfits, suggested activities and a Powerpoint presentation of a visit to the dentist. The boxes are available for half a term at a time, free of charge. The box can either be collected in person or couriered out for free with the borrower organising the return of the box. If you are interested in borrowing the box please telephone the Museum Education Officer on 020 7535 5860 or email museum@bda.org.
"The loan box has really helped me to deliver the topic of 'People who help us'. The pack presents lots of information about the work of the dentist and also provides links to help find more infomation."

The teachers' pack

The teachers' pack which accompanies the box is also available in hard copy form or as a CD-rom. Please click on the links below to see a sample of the materials available in the teachers' pack. If you would like a copy of the teachers' pack please complete the form.
