Aims | To recognise the implications of a white patch in the mouth - innocent, dysplastic or neoplastic?

| - To understand and recognise clinically the features of non neoplastic and non dysplastic white lesions of the oral mucosa
- To understand and recognise clinically the features of dysplastic white lesions of the oral mucosa
- To achieve a differential diagnosis for white patches of the oral mucosa.

Speaker | Stephanie Sammut Steph is a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Dundee Dental Hospital and School. Her main clinical interests are MRONJ and oral cancer. She is a trustee and secretary of a charity called Let’s Talk About Mouth Cancer - which works to raise awareness of mouth cancer and promotes mouth self examination. The charity's main aim is to improve prognosis of this disease through early diagnosis. She is currently a member of the local organising committee for the Global Oral Cancer Forum 2020 that will be held in Edinburgh in March 2020. |
