Head of Endodontology, King's College London
Francesco Mannocci is a Specialist in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He obtained his MD in 1986, in Pisa, Italy and his DDS in 1990 also in Pisa. He obtained a PhD in Clinical Dentistry from King's College London in 2001. He worked in private practice in Pisa for 18 years while collaborating with the University of Siena as a Visiting Professor. He became lecturer in endodontology at King's College London in 2004, Senior Lecturer/Honorary Consultant in 2006, Head of Endodontology in 2008 and Professor of Endodontology at King's College London in 2011. He also maintains a private practice limited to endodontics in Central London.
Francesco has authored more than 120 papers in international peer reviewed journals. He is Associate Editor of the International Endodontic Journal. His research work has included restoration of endodontically treated teeth, instrumentation techniques, dental anatomy, histology, endodontic radiology and endodontic microbiology.
Specialist in Endodontics
Julian Webber was the first UK dentist to receive a Masters Degree in Endodontics from a university in the USA. Julian received his BDS from Birmingham University in 1974 and his MS and Certificate in Endodontics from Northwestern University Dental School, Chicago, Illinois, USA in 1978. He has been a practicing Endodontist in central London since 1978 and opened the Harley Street Centre for Endodontics in October 2002.
Julian lectures extensively in the UK and has travelled abroad on many occasions to lecture to major world dental and endodontic societies. Through his various workshops and hands-on courses, he has helped to train many general dentists in the skills of modern endodontic technique.
Julian has been President of the British Endodontic Society and the American Dental Society of London. He is an executive committee member of the American Dental Society of Europe, an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, currently serving on various committees and a fellow of the International College of Dentists. Julian is also Editor-in-Chief of the Endodontic Practice Journal, a clinically orientated endodontic publication with a worldwide readership.
6 hours CPD
The seminar meets the educational criteria set by the GDC for verifiable CPD (6 hours) and is certified by the British Dental Association.
