Anne Barker

Anne resized.jpgAnne is the founder of the MediHoldings Group - MediCruit, MediEstates and MediFinancial, a family owned, 15 year established company which offers services across the whole dental spectrum such as Practice Sales, Recruitment, Finance. Prior to MediCruit Anne was a partner at ETI which specialised in Optometry and Nursing.  She developed the team from 4 to 26 and worked closely with companies such as Boots Plc, NHS trusts and other recognised bodies on a large scale. Her specialist sector for the last 15 years is dentistry, where she understands the needs of dental professionals, practice owners, practice buyers, independent and corporate.  Anne regularly speaks at BDA Seminars, and has regular slot writing for the main dental magazines distributed throughout the UK.

Wallace Mair

Wallace resized.jpgWallace qualified with a Master of Arts in Latin, Greek and Economics in 1969. Much later he obtained a degree in Business Administration from Edinburgh University. He is an Affiliate of the Pensions Management Institute. For much of his career he was a Company Secretary and for 25 years he was Chief Executive of the Faculty of Actuaries in Scotland. Since 2004, he has been the senior pension consultant with the BDA. In 2014 he retired but returned 2 days a week to the BDA for a 3 year period ending in June next year. He is currently Chairman of the BDA Staff Pension Trustees. He is married with two children and three grandchildren.

Ray g resized.jpg​Ray is the Managing Director of Goodman Grant Solicitors, a dedicated dental law firm that specialises in the sale and purchase of dental practices. Ray is also the Past Chairman of the Lawyers group of NASDAL (National Association of Dental Accountants and Lawyers), a Member of the Association of Specialist Providers for Dentists (ASPD) and is included on the BDA list of recommended Dental Solicitors. Through providing legal services to dentists and the dental industry for over 20 years Ray has a comprehensive understanding of the commercial and professional objectives of dental practices, along with the relevant legal requirements

Alan Suggett

Dental Partner, UNW Chartered Accountants

Alan resized.jpgAlan is a Chartered Accountant and partner in charge of the Dental Business Unit of UNW LLP chartered Accountants (currently acting for more than 300 dentists). Alan writes regularly for the dental press. He is also a member of ASPD, and the National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL) and a member of the technical committee. Alan is the editor of the quarterly NASDAL goodwill survey which analyses all member client practice sales and valuations.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing either by fax to 020 7563 4591, or by email, or by post to The Events Department, BDA, 64 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8YS. This must then be followed by a telephone call to confirm receipt. Cancellations received 29 days or more prior to the conference will be entitled to a 100% credit voucher or refund. Cancellations received between 15 days and 28 days (inclusive) prior to the conference will receive a 100% credit voucher to attend a future BDA seminar or a 75% refund. For cancellations received between 1 day and 14 days (inclusive) prior to the conference, no credit voucher or refund will be given. Failure to attend the event on the day will constitute late cancellation and no credit voucher or refund will be given. Substitutions are welcome at any time.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the programme may change and the BDA reserves the right to cancel the event or alter the venue and/or speakers.
