Douglas Jackson Grant
In 2015 the BDSA committee introduced the Douglas Jackson Grant. This exciting fund aims to promote and support relationships between UK dental schools.
The fund is open to applications from all dental students in the UK.
The BDSA was set up in 1942 following a meeting of dental students from around the UK. In recent years, events such as the annual Sports Day and Conference have made a profit, which has led to a surplus in the BDSA bank account. The BDSA is a non-profit organisation, therefore we have decided to use this surplus for the advancement of the BDSA ideology in the form of a grant named after the first president of the BDSA, Douglas Jackson.
The grant is awarded three times a year. To apply for funding please complete an application form and send to the BDSA Treasurer.
