Learn the dento-legal essentials for dentistry 

Ensure you are up to speed with the important non-clinical aspects of delivering care and join us for our seminar on dento-legal essentials, on Friday 15 March 2024, from 09:30 to 17:00, at the BDA.

The day will cover the four Cs: Consent, confidentiality, communication and complaints handling. 

The event has been tailored to provide 5.5 hours of verifiable CPD and will include lecture-based and practical group work, with the opportunity to ask questions and network with peers. 

Throughout the day you will learn more about: 

  • Getting up to speed with the essentials of confidentiality 
  • Achieving a strong consent process 
  • Understanding the risks of context in communications 
  • Exploring ways of minimising the risk of complaints 
  • What steps you need to take when dealing with complaints.
