Emmanouil (Manolis) Roditakis
Manolis graduated from Athens Dental School in 2002. He served in the Greek Air Force as a Sergeant Dental Officer and then worked at his Private Practice in Crete for 7 years. During this time, he was actively involved in a dental charity for special care patients in his hometown. In 2010 he moved to London where he worked in General and Private practice. In 2011 he completed the Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. In 2012, Manolis moved to the Shetland Islands where he joined the Community Dental Service. He obtained the NHS Education for Scotland (NES) Remote & Rural Fellowship for further postgraduate studies in Paediatric dentistry at the University of Aberdeen. He also became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd). Since 2015, Manolis is part of the Community Dental Service in Hywel Dda UHB, SW Wales, as a Senior Dental Officer. His fields of interest include children and adults with special needs and Inhalation Sedation. Outside work, Manolis enjoys travelling and with the help of his 5 year old son, he aims to become a Lego master builder.
