Scottish Public Dental Service Committee
The Scottish Public Dental Service Committee (SPDSC) represents the interests and acts on behalf of dentists working in the NHS Primary Care Public Dental Service (PDS) in Scotland.
It meets three times a year to ensure that there is a regular opportunity for members of the committee to raise and discuss issues affecting PDS dentists in Scotland.
The BDA and SPDSC also work together to influence Scottish Government and NHS Employers through the Scottish Joint Negotiating Forum.
Our priorities
- Considering and addressing key issues relating to the PDS in Scotland
- Making decisions informed by a considered and strategic approach to relevant issues
- Supporting the work of the BDA Accredited Representatives.
