Overview
Complex Care Pathways (CCPs) were introduced by NHS England in June 2026 to support the management of patients with more advanced or unstable oral health needs, including significant dental decay and moderate to severe periodontitis. Each CCP operates over a defined period, six or 12 months, allowing practitioners to assess, stabilise, and treat patients in a more holistic way.
