Overview
This advice provides information for dentists who wish to make an application for a Vocational Training number on the grounds that experience and training has been acquired which should be regarded as equivalent to Vocational Training. We also look at the most appropriate contract dentists should be engaged on by the practice. Typically, this is the route that a dentist from a non-European Union country will need to follow to be eligible to work as an NHS contractor in Scotland.
