Antibiotic prescribing

Around 10% of all antibiotic prescriptions come from dentists in primary care. Research indicates many of these prescriptions are unnecessary.

The Dental Antimicrobial Stewardship Toolkit is designed to help practitioners in primary care provide optimal antibiotic prescribing when managing dental infections. With it, you can track and monitor your prescribing patterns, stay compliant and help your patients understand when antibiotics are appropriate.
