There are three stages in the selection process: application, practice inspection and interview.

If you’re interested in becoming a trainer you should ask your local postgraduate office for an application pack. You can apply to the region or county in which you are based or to a neighbouring region or county if you are nearer to a VT scheme there. Send supporting information – a practice information leaflet or practice description as well as a completed application form.

When the office receives your application they will contact you to discuss your application, ask you some preliminary questions, and arrange a convenient time for a practice inspection and interview.
