The role of the BDA Accredited Representatives (ARs)

The role of the ARs is to act as the local union representative of clinical salaried dentists employed within the NHS. ARs represent all Salaried Primary Dental Care dentists.

Primary Dental Care has changed drastically over the last few years and will continue to do so in the future. It is important for you and all our members in the salaried sector of NHS dentistry to have access to an Accredited Representative who can voice member concerns through changing times and look to protect interests. If you would like to become involved in trade union activities by acting as a local trade union rep for your area, or if you have any comments or questions on this section or on the role of ARs please email employmentrelations@bda.org
