Predictable endodontics in practice

A novel on-demand lecture series complemented with intensive practical training.

LONDON   |   Friday 22 September 2023

This exciting and novel course has been designed specifically for the busy dental practitioner who wishes to update their endodontic knowledge and practical skills.

The course will be delivered through a combination of on-demand lectures (to view at time and place that suits you) and face-to-face practical training involving demonstrations and hands-on exercises using modern endodontic techniques.

Group size limited to 25 delegates.

Aim

To enhance skills required to carry out predictable endodontic treatment using the latest preparation and obturation techniques.

Learning content

Cover the theory with access to a series of specially created on-demand lectures prior to the practical day.  The hands-on day will include instrumentation, irrigation and obturation of the root canal system.

Learning objectives

  • Diagnosis and treatment planning, including an introduction to 3D CBCT
  • Maintaining vitality of teeth (avoiding endo!)
  • Access cavity preparation and irrigation protocols
  • Nickel titanium instrumentation-rotary versus reciprocation
  • Obturation and post-endo restoration
  • Managing endodontic failure; when to re-treat yourself and when to refer.

Course requirements

The six hours of on-demand lectures must be completed in advance of attending the practical training
Lectures will be available to view one-month prior to the practical training day.
No refunds or deductions will be offered for failure to complete the lectures.
