Peter Cummings
Practice Valuation Manager, MediEstates
Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the Dental industry working for both an industry leading corporate and also independent dental marketing companies. His expertise includes business development, marketing and sales, recruitment, project management and team management. Peter is responsible for conducting detailed business appraisals and valuations with practice owners to assist them with their exit strategy. His extensive knowledge of all aspects of dentistry enables him to provide valuable market insight and advice which is tailored specifically to the dental practice owners business.

Len D'Cruz GDP and Practice Owner, London and Head of Indemnity, BDA
Len is Head of BDA Indemnity, a general dental practitioner, foundation trainer and practice owner. He has 21 years’ experience as a dento-legal advisor supporting dentists with complaints, clinical and regulatory issues, and clinical negligence claims. He is lead lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire teaching on the MA in Dental Law and Ethics. He has authored and co-authored two books: “Understanding NHS dentistry” and “Legal aspects of general dental practice” (Churchill Livingstone) and has contributed legal and ethical content to a number of text books and journals and websites. He regularly shares his wisdom on NHS regulations and contract reform and has both dental and legal qualifications.

Ray is the Chairman of Goodman Grant Solicitors, a dedicated dental law firm that specialises in the sale and purchase of dental practices. Ray is also the Past Chairman of the Lawyers group of NASDAL (National Association of Dental Accountants and Lawyers), and a Member of the Association of Specialist Providers for Dentists (ASPD). Alan Suggett
Dental Consultant, UNW Chartered Accountants
Alan is a Chartered Accountant and was the partner in charge of the Dental Business Unit of UNW LLP chartered Accountants (acting for more than 500 dentists) until April 2022. Alan is a member of ASPD, and until his change of role at UNW was a member of the National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL), a member of the technical committee, and the editor of the quarterly NASDAL goodwill survey which analyses all member client practice sales and valuation. He now acts as a consultant to UNW and carries out dental consultancy projects through Agata Consulting Ltd.

Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be received in writing by email to events@bda.org. This must then be followed by a telephone call to confirm receipt.
Cancellations received 29 days or more prior to an event will be entitled to a 100% credit voucher or refund. Cancellations received between 15 days and 28 days (inclusive) prior to the event will receive a 100% credit voucher to attend a future BDA event or a 75% refund. For cancellations received between 1 day and 14 days (inclusive) prior to the event, no credit voucher or refund will be given. Failure to attend the event on the day will constitute late cancellation and no credit voucher or refund will be given.
Substitutions are welcome at any time if they qualify for the same delegate rate or cheaper. Substitutions for attendees who qualify for a higher delegate rate should pay the difference.
