Aim
| Much of dental care is rehabilitation following tooth loss. But some of what we have been told, read and practise is tosh. The aim of this course is to:
- Hone our clinical skills in the laboratory
- Identify what is important and what is trivial
- Come away with tips and more tips to be applied when I see patients next day.
|
Learning objectives | Using a discussive approach, underpinned by hands-on preparation of manikin teeth in the laboratory, at the completion of the day: - You have evidence that you are competent in preparing teeth
- You have the confidence to decide what is germane and what is trivial in advanced restorative dentistry
- Tips, tips and more tips in delivering advanced restorative dentistry.
|
Learning content | This presentation is relevant to general practice. It will go over the principles of tooth preparation for restorative purposes of indirect restorations. It will also give an insight into may tips on the focus of advanced restorative dental techniques.
