Aims
  • To present what digital dentistry means in the modern world

  • To show that it is much more than just CEREC

  • To show how digital dentistry can be used to aid communication with the lab and with the patient.

Alif Moosajee

Dr Alif Moosajee is the Award-winning principal dentist at Oakdale Dental, a specialist dental practice in Leicester, and is also the author of the book 'The Smiling Dentist' a jargon-free book for patients about clinical dentistry.

Alif Qualified at Birmingham University in 2004.

He has a particular interest in dental implants and CEREC and merging those two interests to fabricate implant guides in house and provide a fully digital workflow for his implant patients. He also loves providing tooth-bourne restorations with CEREC and loves overcoming the challenges that this treatment often provides. Alif provides the CEREC 'New-User Training' and also lectures extensively on CEREC and also CEREC guided implant surgery. He is also a study club director for the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and for Dentinal Tubules

Alif regularly makes appearances on BBC TV and Radio and on Channel 5 commenting on topical dental issues. After writing his book, he continues to put pen to paper writing for dental magazines 'The Probe' and 'Dentistry'. He is on the editorial board for 'Young Dentist' magazine and has had articles published in 'Implant Dentistry Today'.

Alif was awarded Best Young Dentist UK and won the Fast Track 4 award in 2016.
