Colin Hopper

Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon
BDS, MBBS, MD, FDS, FRCS

Colin Hopper is a Consultant Head and Neck Surgeon at UCLH as well as the programme director for the MSc and MClin Dent program at UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

Colin has worked at the National Medical Centre since 1991, leading various research projects on the use of photodynamic therapy in the treatment of oral squamous cell carcinoma. This is currently one of the world's largest programmes.

He is the international authority on photodynamic therapy for head and neck cancer, and his work has produced over 100 publications. His specialist areas of interest include photodynamic therapy (PDT) and optical diagnosis for tumour diagnosis, mapping and surveillance.

Please note: If you have a GDC number you can use the online system. You do not need to be a BDA member.

If you do not already have a BDA website username and password, fill in this form and we'll set you up with a username and temporary password.

If booking online, please email us any dietary requirements. Dietary requirements must be provided by Monday 11 May 2020 so they can be passed onto the venue.
