Consultant in Oral Medicine

Dr Shahid Chaudhry is a Consultant in Oral Medicine at King’s College Hospital, London. He has had broad general professional training in both dental and medical specialties and undertook specialist training in Oral Medicine at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH. During this time, he was awarded a Clinical Research Training Fellowship by Cancer Research UK to support a PhD thesis in cancer cell biology.

Dr Chaudhry’s clinical expertise is in the oral manifestations of systemic disease. His research interests include epithelial biology, inflammatory mucosal disease, oral pre-cancer and cancer. He has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles in a variety of medical, dental and scientific journals.
