Aims
| Incorporating oral surgery in your dental practice - Arshad Siddiqui This session aims to deliver a working understanding of common oral surgical procedures that can be carried out in dental practice and raise awareness of difficult cases that can be referred for specialist opinion.
Communication that prevents complaints and builds lasting relationships - Jane Lelean This session will aim for you to become an effective and confident communicator. This session is suitable for all members of the dental team.

Learning objectives
| Incorporating oral surgery in your dental practice - Arshad Siddiqui
- Oral surgical procedures will be discussed with their indications, preparation, and management of possible complications. Oral and dental anatomy and pathology would be reviewed with an emphasis on management
- Interactive case-based discussion to increase proficiency in assessment and consent. Surgical skills pertaining to common oral surgical procedures and experience would be shared.

Speakers
|  Arshad Siddiqui Arshad graduated in dentistry (BDS) in 2001. He did his Masters in Oral Surgery
from Glasgow (MMedSci) and completed the Membership Exam of Royal college of
Surgeons, Dental Faculty (MFDS) in 2004. He then obtained his Medical
qualification (MBBS) from Aberdeen in 2010 and Masters in Surgery (MSc – Surgery)
from Edinburgh in 2014. This was followed by Surgical Membership Exam (MRCS) and
progression to advanced Surgical Training. He obtained FRCS (OMFS) in 2018 and was
appointed as a Consultant OMFS / Head and Neck Surgeon in Nottingham, UK.
Dr. Siddiqui is now a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon in Edinburgh, Faculty of
Edinburgh Medical College and Surgical Trainer of OMFS in Scotland.
Head and Neck oncology surgery and reconstruction remains his prime interest.
 Jane Lelean Jane is one of the UK’s leading Dental Business Coaches and Trainers and she

If you feel at all unwell, we encourage you to take a lateral flow test the evening before you are due to arrive - should your test result be positive, we ask you not to attend We advise sanitising your hands on arrival and continue to sanitise/wash your hands regularly throughout the event We offer flexibility to transfer to a future event should you find yourself prevented from attending due to self-isolation or the onset of COVID-related symptoms.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 (a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loss/changes to your sense of taste or smell) we kindly request you do not attend the event, although it is not a legal obligation to do so.
