Although this is a free event, advance booking is essential so that we know numbers for seating, refreshments, and preparing named CPD certificates.

Peter Ward

Managing Director, British Dental Association

Peter qualified as a dentist in 1982 and, after 13 years in general practice, took on a number of senior management roles in organisations related to the profession.

The first of these was working in the public sector leading the clinical quality assurance of NHS dentistry. He then moved into the commercial sector where he worked with two dental corporates. After five years in this environment, Peter worked as a management consultant, working with a number of players in the dental supplies industry before joining the BDA.

Peter holds an honours degree in law, an MBA and in 2009 was honoured to be granted a Fellowship from the Faculty of General Dental Practice.
