Aim

To explore latest materials and techniques to enable clinicians produce more aesthetic and functional direct posterior composite restorations.

Learning objectives
  • To discuss the latest advances in composite resin materials for posterior teeth
  • To understand the different techniques available in restoration of posterior teeth
  • How to apply the latest techniques to achieve aesthetic and functional posterior composite restorations
  • To understand posterior teeth morphology including contact points and how to achieve them
  • To optimise clinical time and patient outcome by using appropriate system and techniques.
Learning content

The lectures will start with details of latest developments in composite resin restoration materials with specific chemical background. This will then followed by how these improvements can differ our clinical management of patients. Morteza will then aim to provide few clinical tips to achieve optimal outcomes in a efficient manner so both clinician and patient can benefit from it.

My main clinical practice based on treatment of patients with complex dental problems on referral basis.

I am involved in teaching post graduates dentist in the field of Implants and Restorative dentistry both at local and national levels.
