Colin will give his personal experiences of the GDC investigation and explain the current situation and framework for regulation in the UK and suggestions for possible improvements in regulation.

Colin Campbell

Colin is a specialist in Oral Surgery who practices in Nottingham. His practice is limited to dental implant surgery, bone grafting and oral surgery procedures and he has placed in excess of 5,000 dental implants and provided in excess of 10,000 surgical extractions in his career.Colin has held leadership positions in dentistry in both the British Dental Association, the International Team for Implantology and the British Association of Surgical Dentistry (now oral surgery) During the period of 2013-2015 Colin was subject to a GDC investigation and has shared his experiences in regard to this widely together with ideas about how the regulation system in dentistry may be improved.
