Aims

The CQC changed the way it inspects and regulates in April 2018.

This lecture aims to bring participants up to date with the current CQC inspection regime. It also aims to help all participants have a better understanding of what the CQC is looking for when it inspects dental practices and what evidence they expect to see at the inspection visit.

Learning objectives
  • Understand how to demonstrate their practice is compliant
  • Understand the common areas of non-compliance and how to avoid the pitfalls
  • Understand the importance of involving the whole team in compliance
  • Understand the importance of continuous improvement
  • Understand the benefits of having a compliant practice.
