Introduce the British Dental Association (BDA), General Dental Practice Committee (GDPC) and Local Dental Committee (LDC).

Overview of the roles of the above organisations.

At the end of the lecture, delegates will have:

  • A better understanding of the BDA, GDPC and the LDC

  • A better understanding of how to get involved with local committees

  • Know how to raise any issues in dentistry.

David is a General Dental Practitioner and Registered Specialist In Surgical Dentistry based in Birmingham. He is the Chairman of the BDA's General Dental Practice Committee and is involved with the LDC.
