The COVID-19 pandemic will change the practice of dentistry in the post pandemic era. Expert speakers in their fields will cover the challenges that the virus presents in the oral cavity and dental settings, what will be appropriate personal protective equipment and how this will affect the future of general dental practice.

Session aims

  • Review the current knowledge of the viral load in the oral cavity
  • Address the future challenges of appropriate PPE for the dental team
  • Consider the challenges for general dental practice
