WEBINAR RECORDING

Associate agreements – what you need to know

A recording of a webinar that took place on Wednesday 13 October 2021

Aim

This webinar will help you understand the commercial aspects of your associateship agreement and offer practical suggestions for how to operate a BDA model associateship agreement in a complaint way, consistent with key clauses. We’ll discuss the recent announcement from HMRC regarding the withdrawal of its guidance for Associate Dentists from 6 April 2023 and what that means for the profession. Details of HMRC's announcement can be seen in their October bulletin.

Learning objectives

  • Understand the importance of your associate agreement
  • Review and understand key clauses
  • Understanding the commercial nature of the relationship
  • Understand the impact of vicarious liability on the associate relationship and how that is also factored into your associate agreement.

Learning content

A one-hour panel discussion which offered the chance to ask the speakers questions at the end of the webinar.
