BDA AGM

Thursday 6 May 2021

19:30 - 20:30 | ONLINE

We are required to hold a general meeting of BDA members every year. Notice of these meetings will always be provided in the BDJ and the agenda for the meetings and items for discussion will be published here.

Agenda

  1. To receive and consider the audited accounts for the financial year ended 30 September 2020 including the Directors’ and auditors’ reports
  2. To reappoint BDO Stoy Hayward, LLP (‘BDO’) as the company’s auditors to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting and to authorise the Directors to fix their remuneration
  3. To consider and, if thought fit, approve, as a special resolution of the members of the Company, the adoption of the draft articles of association posted on the BDA website as the articles of association of the Company with immediate effect in substitution for and to the entire exclusion of the existing articles of association
  4. To confirm the date and venue for the Annual General Meeting in 2022 as determined by the Principal Executive Committee.

We have produced two explanatory notes regarding the changes to the Articles of Association:

If you would like to discuss the AGM please contact the Board Secretary, Stephen Skelton: Stephen.skelton@bda.org.

Proxy voting

If you cannot attend the AGM you can still cast your vote by requesting a proxy, in this case the Chair of the PEC, Eddie Crouch to cast a vote on your behalf. If you do request a proxy vote you will not be given subsequent permission to attend the AGM.

If you wish to vote by proxy please copy the proxy form below into an e-mail and send to Stephen.skelton@bda.org.
