What to expect

This lecture will provide a complete overview of tooth wear diagnoses, discuss treatment options and when to refer, and explore tips for managing tooth wear.

Meet the speaker

Birute Bond Birute Bond Specialist Prosthodontist and Principal Dentist

Birute is a Specialist Prosthodontist and Principal Dentist based in Salisbury. She completed the world renowned MClinDent in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute in London with distinction and is registered with the GDC as a Specialist Prosthodontist. In 2018, she won a Clinical Case Gary Pollock Prize awarded by the British Society of Restorative Dentistry. She has also achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Aesthetics at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Birute is capable of carrying out the most complex and extensive restorative planning and bespoke treatments, tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient. She is an expert in providing treatment for tooth wear, tooth loss, aesthetic smile improvement and has in depth knowledge of dental materials and their applications.

She is active in promoting learning and frequently hosts dental study club events for clinicians in the south west, where she is often sought out for her clinical advice.

If you feel at all unwell, we encourage you to take a lateral flow test the evening before you are due to arrive - should your test result be positive, we ask you not to attend.

If your test is negative, but you do have symptoms of COVID-19 (a new, persistent cough; a high temperature; or loss/changes to your sense of taste or smell) we kindly request you consider not attending the event to mitigate any risk to other attendees.

The hotel will be providing tea and coffee and a selection of sandwiches and home-made chips. Additional drinks may be purchased directly from the hotel bar.
