What to expect
This full day event will cover sessions from Danielle McGeown on understanding the importance of medical history taking and risk assessment when providing care for medically complex patients, how systemic steroids or biological agents affect oral healthcare and apply strategies to safely manage patient dental care and increasing knowledge and confidence to provide dental care for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Ellie Henderson will cover an overview of biologics, their use, patient treatment groups and dental implications. The divisional AGM will take place before lunch at 12:30 for BDA members.
