What to expect

Imogen Fox will provide essential knowledge and tools to help manage patients who have undergone head and neck cancer treatment, particularly radiotherapy, within the general practice setting.

  • Review and enhance understanding of the key risk factors and trends related to head and neck cancer
  • Understand essential areas such as prevention care, mucositis management, osteoradionecrosis (ORN) risks, recommended products, and dietary advice
  • Apply practical insights into managing caries for patients post-head and neck cancer treatment
  • Understand the importance of compassionate care and how it can enhance patient relationships and outcomes in cancer treatment.

Meet the speaker

Imogen Fox 250X250 Imogen Fox Community Special Care Dental Therapist, Kings College Hospital

Imogen has a clinical background in head and neck cancer care as a dental therapist at the Oxford University Hospitals, Imogen now works for Kings College Hospital as both a community special care dental therapist and as a clinical tutor within the dental hygiene and therapy school. Alongside this, Imogen works in private practice and is passionate about delivering positive patient experience and professional education. Imogen has had an array of articles published and has spoken at dental events such as The Dentistry Show, Dental Tubules, BSDHT study sessions and Oral B run webinars.

Imogen aspires to reignite fellow professionals love for their work and inspire growth and personal development to bring work life fulfilment.
