What to expect

Join us on a lecture-based online course to ensure you are complying with obligations under current legislation and enhance awareness of good working practice.
 
This course will bring you up to date with the legislation concerning dental radiography and ensure you are aware of statutory responsibilities. Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IRMER) impose significant requirements for patient protection. Covering the principles of justification, optimisation and limitation this course satisfies both the IRMER regulations and core CPD requirements as recommended by the GDC.

Meet the speaker

Paul Nixon Paul Nixon Consultant in Maxillofacial Radiology, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Paul Nixon is Consultant in Maxillofacial Radiology at Liverpool Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool. He has many years of experience in lecturing on different aspects of Dental Radiology and is the author of several publications in this area.
