Learning objectives 

  • Describe the pulp reaction to dental disease, dental procedures, and trauma
  • Update on the latest bioactive materials available to use on managing the pulp after insult
  • Discuss the biological reaction of the pulp to these new materials, success and prognosis of such teeth.

Meet the speaker

Sanjeev Bhanderi 250X250 Sanjeev Bhanderi Specialist in Endodontics

Sanjeev  qualified in 1993 from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals (University of London). In 1997, Sanjeev completed is postgraduate training in Endodontology at the University of Manchester Dental hospital and has been a GDC-registered Specialist in Endodontics since 2000. He has worked exclusively in private Specialist endodontic practices in Manchester, Liverpool, and London. From 2020 to 2022, Sanjeev was elected as President of the British Endodontic Society.

He is also an active Specialist member of the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) and has a particular interest in endodontic microsurgery (U. Penn, Philadelphia certified). He also works as a certified medico-legal witness (University of Cardiff Law School).

In 2009, Sanjeev opened his new state-of-the-art Specialist endodontic practice ENDO61 in South Manchester where he runs live clinical demos and courses for visiting practitioners and postgraduate students.
