The BDA’s longstanding Preparing for retirement seminar is being delivered online in two, easy-to-access evening sessions, with the same great content and speakers.

You can book both parts of the online event to gain financial advice on your retirement and understand the issues associated with selling your practice. Alternatively, you can just book one of the events depending on your current needs.

What to expect

This online event will provide the participant with a comprehensive guide to their pension options, looking at both NHS and private pensions.

Phil Bowler

Phil is married with 2 children and has worked in management roles within Financial Services for over 30 years and has been a specialist in providing Financial Advice to doctors and dentists since 2004.

Phil was part of a Specialist Medical Management team which won the ‘Best Management Team of the Year’ in the National Sales Awards held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

Phil has a passion for providing a high level of service, technical knowledge and financial advice to Doctors and Dentists which lead him to join Chase De Vere in March 2016 to work in partnership with the BMA and now holds the role of Head of Technical Support for Chase de Vere Medical and Chase de Vere Dental.

In his spare time Phil is a qualified coach in both cricket and football. He currently coaches a local under 14’s team football team and an U14 and U15 cricket team. He says coaching kids is a good break from dealing with the financial affairs of doctors and dentists which is anything but child’s play.
