IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Reading and Windsor Section

What to expect

Join us as we provide an introductory understanding of vertical preparations in fixed prosthodontics, enlightening dentists on their advantages, indications, and relevant protocols.

Our speaker Jaz Gulati will provide an introduction to vertical preparations or ‘vertipreps’ that seemed to have come back in fashion. The lecture will explain key differences to conventional ‘horizontal’ crown preparations and explain the rationale for vertical margins. Jaz will share case examples of vertical preparations that help to gain vertical ferrule and maintain the ‘horizontal ferrule’.
