Thursday 4 July 2024
Caldy Golf Club, Wirral

What to expect

We are delighted to invite you and your guests to join us at Caldy Golf Club for the West Lancashire, West Cheshire, and North Wales Branch BDA golf day. BDA members will be playing for the Bonnalie Cup presented to the BDA by the Branch President for 1921/22, GJ Bonnalie and it was first played for in 1924, making this our centenary competition.

Situated at the end of the Wirral Peninsula, alongside the River Dee, Caldy Golf Club boasts some of the finest views in golf. With its links style holes, affording views across the estuary to Wales, contrasting perfectly with its parkland and heathland style inland holes, the course provides the perfect challenge for golfers of all abilities.

The Bonnalie Cup golf competition will start at 13:00, with the tee reserved until 14:00. Light refreshments will be provided in the club house before the competition from 12:00 onwards. Dinner and a brief presentation will follow the competition.

To reserve a buggy for the day please contact Caldy Golf Club on [email protected] or 0151 625 5660. There are limited buggies available, so please book early if you require one.

Jacket and tie for the evening meal and presentation. Please wear recognised and appropriate golf attire and golf shoes on the course.

Access the event flyer as a pdf file and share with your colleagues.

All BDA members are invited. You are most welcome to bring guests with you, both dental and non dental. I assure you they will all be given a very warm welcome. The cup itself will be awarded to the best BDA member. Non-playing BDA members and guests are welcome to join us for dinner following the competition at 18:00.
