IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by Aberdeen, Highlands and Inverness Section

What to expect

The session will explore the importance of recognising patterns of non‑attendance in dental settings, how these behaviours can highlight wider issues of non‑engagement with health services, and their potential implications for neglect. It will also examine the reasons parents may struggle to engage with dental services and consider how they can be better supported. In addition, the session will review Child Protection Escalation Pathways and discuss the risks associated with dental neglect, including how collaborative work with named professionals can help identify and address emerging concerns.
