Join us for an evening lecture presented by Professor Adrian Thorp on oral surgery. The lecture will focus on providing general dental practitioners with the key knowledge and techniques and how to manage oral surgery complications.

Meet the speakers

Adrian Thorp Specialist Oral Surgeon and Clinical Director for Community Dental Services CiC

Adrian is currently the Clinical Director / Executive Board Member for Community Dental Services CiC. Adrian is a practicing Specialist Oral Surgeon who has a Law Degree who has an avid interest in teaching. He worked within Maxillofacial Surgery for over 10 years but also owned a seven-surgery mixed practice in North Wales. He was also TPD for Foundation Training in North Wales for eight years. Adrian is President-Elect for the British Association of Oral Surgery and sits on the Speciality Advisory Board for Oral Surgery at the two Royal Colleges of Surgeons. Adrian is the current Exam Board Chair for the new Fellowship Exit Examination for Speciality Training in Oral Surgery. He is an expert witness for the DDU and currently is a member of the BNF for medicine inclusions for dentists in the UK.
