IN-PERSON EVENT, hosted by the Cambridge Section

What to expect

The integration of digital technology into occlusal assessment is transforming how we diagnose, treat, and communicate with patients. This engaging and clinically focused session explores how digital occlusion tools—such as intraoral scanners, virtual articulators, and digital bite analysis—are reshaping restorative workflows. But beyond accuracy and precision, are patients truly satisfied with the outcomes? Through real case examples and practical insights, we will examine both the technical and patient-centred aspects of digital occlusal management. Whether you’re dealing with wear, occlusal instability, or post-restorative evaluation, this session will challenge you to think critically about what matters most: objective data or patient perception?

The session will focus on:

  • Exploring the role of digital occlusion technologies in modern restorative practice
  • Assessing the impact of digital occlusion tools on clinical decision-making and patient outcomes
  • Evaluating the balance between objective occlusal metrics and subjective patient satisfaction.
