What to expect

The 'Hot topic' lecture will see Joanne Mawhinney discuss diagnosing periodontitis in general practice, focusing on risk assessment and behaviour modification in treatment. During the session, Joanne Mawhinney will emphasise clinical assessment and risk factor consideration in comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning in general practice.

Later in the evening, Orlagh McPolin will explore dental radiology’s role across primary, secondary, and tertiary care, showing how it supports diagnostic pathways and enhances collaboration from dental practices to hospital-based teams.

The centrepiece of the site is the original Grade 2-listed red brick building, which has been sympathetically renovated to retain many original features while incorporating the best of today’s technology.

Riddel Hall also has free limited on-site parking for delegates based on a first come, first served basis. In an effort to avoid disappoint and help the environment, delegates should be encouraged to commute via alternative means.
