Phil is married with two children and has worked in management roles within Financial Services for over 30 years and has been a specialist in providing Financial Advice to doctors and dentists since 2004.

Phil was part of a Specialist Medical Management team which won the ‘Best Management Team of the Year’ in the National Sales Awards held at the Grosvenor Hotel in London.

Phil has a passion for providing a high level of service, technical knowledge and financial advice to Doctors and Dentists which lead him to join Chase De Vere in March 2016 to work in partnership with the BMA and now holds the role of Head of Technical Support for Chase de Vere Medical and Chase de Vere Dental.

In his spare time Phil is a qualified coach in both cricket and football. He currently coaches a local under 14’s team football team and an U14 and U15 cricket team. He says coaching kids is a good break from dealing with the financial affairs of doctors and dentists which is anything but child’s play.

Phil McEvoy, Head of Pensions, British Dental Association

Phil has nearly 20 years' experience in the pensions industry, the majority having been spent representing member interests, particularly in the NHS and other areas of the public sector.

Phil is the Head of the BDA's Pensions Team. He leads the policy work of the BDA in relation to pensions and provides expert advice to BDA members in all sectors of dentistry.

He sits on advisory boards for the NHS Pension Schemes across the UK.
