Meet the speaker

Rui AlbuquerqueConsultant in Oral Medicine, Guy’s Hospital, London

Rui Albuquerque is a Consultant in Oral Medicine at Guy’s Hospital, London, where he oversees multiple general oral medicine clinics providing specialist outpatient care for complex oral mucosal diseases. Additionally, he holds the position of Honorary Reader at King’s College London. His research interests include Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders, Oral Cancer, and Facial Pain Disorders, with a particular focus on Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS). Currently, he serves as the coordinator of the e-learning programme on Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders, funded by the European Union (www.OPMDCare.com).
